New Zealand Standard Time (NZST, IANA: Pacific/Auckland) is the civil time of New Zealand mainland (North Island + South Island), set at UTC+12:00. NZST is observed in winter; New Zealand switches to New Zealand Daylight Time (NZDT = UTC+13) from the last Sunday of September to the first Sunday of April per the Time Act of 1974 + Standard Time Act of 2007 (a slightly different DST schedule than Australia + most of the Northern Hemisphere).
