The Nepalese Rupee (NPR, ISO 4217 code 524, symbol ₨ or Rs) is the official currency of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, issued by the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB, est. 1956). Subdivided into 100 paisa.
